ROLLER DERBY TILL I DIE

This full contact sport has exploded onto the UK scene and is fast making headway as a serious extreme sport. All girl teams race around a circuit track on old school roller skates battling it out in thrilling matches known as ‘bouts’. 

This series follows the lives of 16 unique skaters to discover what it takes to be a roller girl. These women are hard-core athletes who don pseudonyms and fishnets as they shun conventional games like netball and hockey by devoting their lives to a sport fuelled by passion and punch ups. By day they are school teachers, firewomen and office workers; but by night they're Flamin' Agro, Grievous Bodily Charm and Goregasm.
