AMR has worldwide rights (excluding Australia and Israel), with a second window in the U.S. following the show’s successful broadcast on American Public Television.
With 28 hours available in Seasons 1 to 4 and a further 8 half hours in production for Season 5 (for delivery later this year) Matt Paxton (Hoarders) brings his many years of experience to this compelling series, helping people declutter and transition.
Jonathan Ford, Managing Director at AMR comments, “We are delighted to have acquired a significant number of hours of Legacy List. It’s a very relatable and emotionally-charged factual entertainment series – so many of us have items that have too many memories to discard. Matt and his experienced team bring to life treasures from a family’s past and moves them on to an uplifting future.”
Michael Yudin, President, My Entertainment said, “We’re thrilled to be able to share this series with the world through Abacus Media Rights. Twice nominated for an Emmy and it is consistently a top five series for PBS in over 95% of US Markets. It shows that sometimes “Good TV” gets recognized.”
“Matt’s insight into downsizing and family legacies, as well as his ability to connect with these families, is on full display in each episode of Legacy List,” said executive producer Steve Humble. “We’re excited to share these stories with an even larger group of people and potentially inspire more families to find their legacy.”
