The First Outbreak provides a unique window on one of the most important events of the 21st century.

Locked for three months inside Wuhan’s premier hospital for infectious diseases, the first hospital to confront the then unknown disease, a crew filmed patients and medical staff as they fought the new disease.

With unprecedented access to the unfolding pandemic, the documentary gives voice to some of the first patients, doctors and nurses to confront the disease.
