Gary is taking us on tour with him, getting behind the wheel to explore the place where two of his own vintages are produced, South Africa, sharing his appetite for amazing culture and great food, driven by his obsession for fantastic wines. As well as inviting us, Gary will also be joined by a cast of great mates to help in his search for the most authentic, accessible, exciting food and drink experiences South Africa has to offer a touring musician and his mates. 

With revealing insight into the food and wine culture of some of one of the world’s most beautiful and exciting places, great friendships unfolding through enthralling travelogue and entertaining access to Gary’s tales of successive world tours, this is a food and drink show with extra showbiz!

The series takes in Cape Town, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franshoek, the Garden Route, Johannesburg and a safari in the Kruger National Park.
