TERROR AT THE MALL

In September 2013 Al-Shabaab, an Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group from Somalia, attacked an upscale shopping mall in neighbouring Kenya. More than 100 security cameras videoed every step of the attack, creating a unique visual record: for the first time in history we see a terrorist attack unfold in front of our eyes.

Drawing on thousands of hours of security camera footage, Terror at the Mall is an unprecedented, terrifyingly graphic account; but it also reveals the courage and resilience by which so many ordinary civilians survived a mass murder in a crowded shopping mall.
