TRISH DESEINE’S DOORSTEP FOOD

After a hugely successful career as a food writer in France, Antrim born Trish Deseine is returning to her homeland to celebrate Northern Ireland’s food heroes.

Multi-award-winning French food writer Trish Deseine’s recipes and advice have been featured on the pages of French Elle, The Guardian and The Irish Times Magazine, as well as in her own cookery books, which have been translated into many different languages and sold around the world.

Now Trish reinvents some familiar favourites by using Northern Ireland produce and giving it a French twist.

Episode 1: Trish takes a look at supermarkets and meets some of the food producers who supply them.

Episode 2: Trish meets award winning food producers and a health conscious family takes on the challenge of eating and cooking exclusively with local food for an entire week. 

Episode 3: Trish dines out in style at local restaurants and a Belfast family embraces the challenge of eating and cooking exclusively with local food for an entire week.

Episode 4 & 5: Trish returns once again to Northern Ireland to help add a bit of French sparkle to the time of year we traditionally consume the most food – Christmas.
